| I saw "Terminator Salvation" today. I'm not much of a Terminator fan, so it was better than I thought it would be. So my little brother has gone off to UCLA for summer school, basically starting his college career 3 months early. I hope he has lots of fun and has a great experience in college, but I don't really understand his fascination with LA. We just have very different personalities I guess. I'm really excited about the new Donnas album coming out July 7, and hopefully going to see them live this summer. The Giants are doing well! Just swept the Rangers and are leading the NL Wildcard race. It kind of sucks though because I feel like I don't have the chance to follow them real closely. Work is so draining. Feel so tired everyday. Oh well, that's it for now. | | |
| Yes we can! Good luck Mr. President. | | |
| I saw Pineapple Express last night. It was kind of disappointing. There were funny parts, but I just thought that it was a little too ridiculous. James Franco was good playing a friendly, stoner drug dealer. Best line in Pineapple Express: Craig Robinson as Matheson: "Dinner's gonna be cold tonight bitch!"
I also saw Traitor last week. That was a pretty good action movie. The main terrorist in the movie looks like a Frenchman. Turns out he is a Frenchman in real life lol.
OU lost the nat'l championship game against Florida. That was kinda disappointing, even for fair-weather fans like myself. I'm also slowly becoming interested in the OKC Thunder. Went to my first Thunder game a few weeks ago, and it was pretty good. Although the Thunder are just horrible this year. Hopefully they'll get the #1 pick in this year's draft and get someone good. Maybe Taylor Griffin. I'll probably become a fair-weather Thunder fan when they become competitive.
I have a mild obsession with Shirley Manson right now lol. Rediscovered Garbage music a few months ago, and I've been hooked on Garbage songs for a while now.
Other than that, life's pretty boring (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Work is draining, but I guess I should just be thankful to be working at all in this economy. Bottoms up to better days.

| Just have to drop a quick comment about watching the historic election of Barack Obama (now President-elect Obama) in the 2008 US Presidential election. I feel like I've truly witnessed a historic event that I will remember for the rest of my life. I have never felt so inspired and hopeful. It was a great sight to see so many people of different races and backgrounds united by Obama's candidacy and the message of hope. After many days of anticipation and cautious optimism, it is so satisfying to know that CHANGE has finally come. My faith and pride in the United States has been renewed, and I feel blessed to live in and be a citizen of the United States of America. God bless America.

| I have just started working full-time as a staff accountant. Working full-time is incredibly tiring, at least it is for me. I feel like there are not enough non-work hours in a day lol. I'm so out of shape it's not even funny. I'm also a little overwhelmed because I have to learn all of my job responsibilities. No more life of luxury and sleeping in for me.
